Renen was born from a family story, from love and values passed down through generations.
The name comes from my grandfather, Renen, who taught me that hospitality is an art and family is the greatest treasure.
Opening a wine shop bearing his name was the most heartfelt way to keep him close. Every corner reflects his simple yet profound way of caring for others.
My name is Yaoling, but most people know me as Jessica.
I arrived in Italy from China in the ’80s and grew up in my parents’ restaurant in Bergamo, where my passion for wine was born.
What started as curiosity became a true calling, through years of study and training as a sommelier.
Today, Renen is a place where wine culture meets my Chinese roots.
I chose to pair our wine selection with a food offering centred on bao — a symbol of sharing and tradition — to create pairings that spark curiosity and tell new stories.
